Tomato Soup For The Soul

What is the best way to treat a work day gone long and an all day nagging headache?

Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup, that's how.

We didn't get home until after 7, but this was such a quick meal!  I used Progresso Tomato & Basil Soup and seasoned it with a little bit of fresh ground pepper.  The Grilled Cheese was made with freshly sliced Colby Cheese on Sourdough Bread.  Next time I think I'll slice up some sweet onions for the grilled cheese!

(Note to self - Tomato Soup doesn't photograph well in a red bowl.  Epic photography fail.)

I'm also hoping some standing forward bends will realign my body and straighten my sinuses out.  The standing forward bend is definitely my go-to Yoga pose when I only have 30 seconds to stretch out - should I be trying something else?

Did anyone else watch The Pioneer Woman Throw Down with Bobby Flay tonight?  Even Bruce got into it!  I determined five things during that hour:
1. I'm ready for Thanksgiving.  Specifically, Thanksgiving dinner.
2. Oklahoma is a beautiful state.
3. Cowboys are cute and mysterious.  I married a fisherman and hunter who wears Carhartt.  Close enough.
4. I want to have a huge kitchen one day.  Complete with spider burners and stainless steel appliances.  And lots of light.  (I currently have none of the above.)
5. I'm ready for Thanksgiving.  Specifically, Thanksgiving dinner.  Crap, I already said that.

Time for me to take myself to bed.  Goodnight all!

  1. That's exactly what I had for dinner! And I had a headache all day (still do, blech). I so wanted to watch the throw down but my parents don't have cable. Is there anywhere to catch it online later do you think?
