Be Still And Know That I Am God

I just had a wonderful lunch with some of my sweet church members!

We went to Autumn's Cafe & Catering, which is a little cafe up the road from the church.  I actually had never been there before, but know they have catered several of the funerals I have done and always have done a great job.  Today's lunch did not disappoint!  I had a Turkey Tex-Mex.  Complete with guacamole, mmmm ...

I've been working all day, but I'm honestly a little distracted by the flooding that's been going on in the northeast.

These pictures were taken not far from where my inlaws, all of Bruce's family and many of our friends live so I am a little jumpy right now.  I will just continue to pray that everyone will stay safe.  I hate being so far away and not being able to do anything!

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not hear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
"Be still, and know that I am God;

I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
The LORD Almighty is with us.

- Psalm 46:1-3, 10-11a
