That one's for you, Mom!
(My mom always took "first day of school" pictures - even (or especially?) when my friends and I thought it was ridiculously uncool.)
Bruce had dinner waiting for me when I got home today!

This totally hit the spot. Ever since we got our power back I've been dreading going to the grocery store - we had to throw away so much! But because I don't want to go, there isn't much to cook, which kind of has me in a funk. Meh. I guess little by little we'll build things back up again.
Alright, it's time for me to shut down my computer and spend some time with Bruce before we go to bed! But just out of curiosity - did y'all ever take "first day of school" pics? I wonder if my mom can dig through her photo albums and find my old ones. I bet they're hysterical!

I took a first day of school picture even though I'm not in school anymore either! I do work at a university though...
ReplyDeleteI was starting to justify it by saying that all of the kids in my church school, youth group and confirmation class started school today, ha! But I think it counts a lot more for you. :)
ReplyDeleteEvery year. And they are often of me looking wretched at some ridiculous hour of the morning before high school. And even in college, I'd have a roomate (or in the case of this year, my boyfriend) take a picture to text/email to her.

I was homeschooled through 9th grade, so we didn't take first day of school pics :( And I'm pretty sure if my mom wanted to take pics of me on the first day of school when I was in high school I would have put up a mean fight so she probably doesn't have any of those first days either :/
