Surveying Signs Of Spring

I am continuing to recite and ponder my prayer for peace.  In response to Osama bin Laden's death, I am struggling right now not only with my own thoughts on a terrorism and Just War, but also on our country's reaction.  I'm not sure I can eloquently say how I am feeling, so I figured I would just say that I'm pondering and grappling and probably will be for awhile.

I don't really want to get into a debate on here, but I thought I would put my thoughts out there in case any one was struggling with the same things ...

I love coming home from work in the afternoon and seeing what has popped open throughout the day!

Every day it's something new!

I think Lilly loves living in the country.  She yips and squeaks at every bird, chipmunk, squirrel, bunny and raccoon that she sees in our yard.

Lunch was late, but very filling!  I am using up all of my veggie-wrap fixin's - though I substituted red onions for (please don't judge me) French's Fried Onion Chips today.  I wanted something crunchy!

I've got some errands to run and then it will probably be a night of sports and a little bit of work.  Enjoy your night!

  1. my thoughts are ... i know he was a terrorist that our military has been hunting for years. i know he was a murderer, and evil, evil being. kudos to our military for a successful mission.

and yet, i am saddened by the loss of life, and by the celebration of death - any death. idk, i just think there's such a fine line here, and as servants of the Lord, i think we're held to a higher standard on our reactions to things. or, i think we should be, to an extent.
