Patriot's Day

'Afternoon!  I told myself this morning that I wasn't allowed to check in on here until I finished my Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunrise Service bulletins.  They're done!  I still need to finish Good Friday and the 10:00 Easter Service.

But let me back up ...

Thank you for all of the sweet comments on yesterday's letter to Charlotte.  I think it is safe to say that I am part of a community that is grieving her loss right now - so please keep her family, my church in Kent (and the entire town) in your prayers.  She was a wonderful woman.

After church yesterday Bruce and I joined about 30 church members in Woonsocket, Rhode Island for a production of Jesus Christ Superstar!

Yesterday was absolutely GORGEOUS and one of my church members who drives a convertible offered to take us to the show - top down!  We had a blast.

Woonsocket is adorable!  The show was at the Stadium Theatre - an awesome space!  Rent is coming next month and I told Bruce I really want him to take me (hint hint!).

Today is Patriot's Day in Massachusetts - and Boston Marathon Day!  Most people are off work - unfortunately for me Holy Week trumps Patriot's Day so I'm working.  But I don't mind. :)

I had a sweet breakfast to fuel me for the day!

Whole wheat toast with peanut butter and chopped walnuts, drizzled with honey.  Have you tried this yet?  It's delicious.

I am going to attempt to print at least one copy of each bulletin and then pack it up for the day.
