The Diner That Never Changes

Woooeeeee! The blizzard of 2011 is hitting NW Connecticut!

Well, sort of. It's snowing at my house. But my dad and I were down in town this morning running errands and it wasn't snowing ... at all. So I'm not really sure what's going on.

I took a donut and coffee to go on my way out the door this morning.  There's something about snow and donuts ...

Since my dad and I were out and about, he asked if I wanted to have lunch.

The Windmill Diner - New Milford's finest. :) It's one of those diners that has always been there and has never changed.  I love places like that.

It was lunchtime, but I was craving breakfast food - probably because I had a donut for breakfast!  I ordered a ham and cheese omelet with home fries and whole wheat toast.

With more coffee.  Because apparently I've become Leroy Gethro Gibbs and always have to have a cup of coffee in my hand.

Time to be productive - have a great day everyone!

  1. Mmm! I think diner breakfast makes a great meal any time of the day. My old standby is eggs, homefries, and toast (oh, and coffee. I'm drinking lots of coffee lately, too. I think it's effecting my sleep...)
