Wear a Dress Tuesday and a Fabulous Fall Lineup!

Happy Wear a Dress Tuesday!  First of all - have you entered my giveaway yet?  You have until this Friday at 8 p.m. EST to enter!

I was SO EXCITED for Tuesday to get here this week because it meant the season premiere of NCIS would FINALLY be here!  Did anyone else watch?  It definitely had me on my toes at certain points.  Bruce is currently watching NCIS: Los Angeles, but I haven't gotten into that one as much

On to Wear a Dress Tuesday.  I snapped this picture on my way out the door this morning ...

It's like a big photographic hodge podge of my reflection, my messy living room and a reflection of all of the stuff that is currently inhabiting my porch.  I can't decide if I like it or not ...

Luckily I was able to snap this photo at work.  This is Kristin (creator of Fresh Start Mondays) - we decided to pose in front of her Peace Corps Map (I thought we should point to the places we would rather be than here, but we couldn't figure out how to point to every single place on the map).  After we took the picture, she and I spent about ten minutes explaining to some of her students the beauty of Wear a Dress Tuesday.  I'm not entirely sure they got it - but then again, most people don't get it the first time they hear about it. :)

Don't you love the poster to the left of me?  It says, "The corner office can wait.  Some corners of the world can't".  Kristin is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer - she served in Botswana for two years.  I love listening to her stories.

My friend Alyssa (right) hosted a dinner party with our friends Megan (left) and Jacquie (and Jacq's adorable daughter) last night and they all showed up wearing skirts!  Technically this was on a Monday, but it was Tuesday in ... like ... Vietnam.  It totally counts.

Did you see Sara's blog post last night?  She posted an old WADT picture - her bridal gown fitting!  What a special dress to get to wear on a Tuesday!

I also got a whole bunch of wonderful facebook shout-outs from people that were taking part but weren't able to get a shot.  I love seeing these messages pop up on my wall, so I thought I would take a screen shot so you all could see them.

In short ... Wear a Dress Tuesday. (Send me your pics if you haven't!  I'll update this post.) A giveaway (click over and enter!) I got to have a quick visit with the Lloyds (little Ephrem is getting big!).  Faster training run (I'll get that post up in the morning).  NCIS season premiere (I love Leroy Jethro Gibbs).  What a great day.
