Well, look what I've been up to!
I decided to start by packing the books that need to go to my office at church - it just made more sense to sort through everything now. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I'm actually having ... fun? ... packing this time around?
Maybe "fun" is too strong of a word - but I think we're both in really positive spirits about this move.
I took a break for lunch!
I'm sure everything about today's lunch will horrify my father ...
In the mix:
- Romaine Lettuce
- Rice
- Walnuts
- Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
- Peas
- Sesame & Ginger Dressing
Look at all those veggies! The peas were just from a bag of frozen peas - what a great addition to the salad!
Back to my office ... I'm on a roll!

Your salad looks fabulous! I love "busy" salads. Your pictures of the peas and beans are very nice, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love rice, but I'd never really thought of it on a salad. Genius!
ReplyDeleteWow your on a roll !! It will be done and then you can unpack it all !!!!
ReplyDeleteAhh, the joys of packing. Actually, packing's not as bad as unpacking..at least to me. I've been here 2.5 years and still have bags to unpack! And I've been known to live out of my suitcase for months. ;)
