Meet Dolly.
Some friends of mine gifted us this piano that was gifted to them years ago. There is a beautiful story behind it and I cannot wait to love and care for it. We named her Dolly because as we were moving her out of Tim & Joe's house we kept calling for the dolly that we were moving her with. The name just kind of stuck.
I took piano lessons when I was in elementary school and again in college. I'm no Chopin but I am passionate about the fact that as a worship leader I need to be able to at least pick out a tune. I am so excited!
Lunch was leftover Mexican Soup. I topped it with shredded sharp cheddar cheese and served it with tortilla chips.
I have nothing to do for the next hour and a half. I think I'm going to zone out in front of some NCIS reruns!

ReplyDeleteMy mom always tried to teach my piano but I was never focused enough for it. It's such a beautiful instrument, though!
ReplyDeleteI was gifted a beautiful old upright piano a year ago, I love her, she is so well played. I have never learned to play, but hope to learn when my daughter is older and healthier. What an awesome gift.
