Wear a Dress Tuesday was cozy today. Dress, leggings, a scarf I bought when I was in Italy a few years ago and wrist warmers that I knitted a few weeks ago when the cold snap hit. I like the different shades of red and pink!
My mom invited Bruce and me up for dinner and NCIS tonight. She made stuffed shells!
When I made stuffed shells a few weeks ago, I focused more on the sauce than the filling. My mom focused on the filling - she added spinach!
I am definitely going to have to make stuffed shells with spinach sometime. It adds such a neat flavor.
I paired the meal with a malbec.
I actually wasn't a fan of this one. It had a weird rubbery taste. Not that I'm a wine connoisseur or anything, so don't take my word for it!
Dessert was a piece of ice cream cake left over from the superbowl. My favorite part of these cakes is definitely the crumbly middle - I wonder if I can just get that somewhere?
I'm currently working on a project for church that involves this ...
I'm pretending that I'm crafty, ha.

ReplyDeleteI am starting to really look forward to Wear a Dress Tuesdays. I wore a silver belt, navy blue shirt, and khaki skirt today, and was so happy I did...tough situation today, and I loved being dressed up for it:) Isn't it fun how we can trick our minds into different things? And increasing mood by dressing up is definitely one of them:)
