Thank You, PW

Alternatively Titled: My husband always loves me a little bit more when I make The Pioneer Woman's Macaroni and Cheese for dinner.

Bruce generally thinks that all things blogging, food blogging and celebrity are a little bit ridiculous and over the top.

So you could imagine my surprise when he sat down last Saturday and watched The Pioneer Woman's cooking show on the Food Network.  She was making her Macaroni and Cheese and served it up with a toppings bar.

Bruce kept talking about how good that recipe is, so I offered to make it tonight.

Bruce texted me this afternoon and asked if I could make some bacon with the M&C - that was one of the toppings she made for that particular episode and he couldn't get it out of his head.

I was more than willing.  I love when Bruce requests something that I actually know how to make.

Yes, please.

I followed her recipe verbatim, so I won't post it again here.  But trust me when I say it's relatively easy (it is a little time consuming, but you just need to take things one step at a time!) and it is to.die.for.

We're settled in for a night of FOOTBALL!  My husband is a diehard Packers fan, so we're pretty much just camped out in front of the TV for the rest of the night.

Tomorrow is Friday!  I have a funerals on Friday and Saturday and a really big Sunday at church so I kind of have to work all weekend, but there is something about Friday that still makes me think, "Phew! You made it."

Goodnight!
