A Lesson In Humility

Ministry humbles me in ways I never thought possible.

I had the privilege of presiding over a funeral today and the whole experience was very touching.  Ministry is amazing - I have the incredible honor of being let into people's lives when they are so vulnerable and I do not take that responsibility lightly.  I am honored, I am touched and I know it is by the grace of God that I am able to do what I do.

And on that note ...

Wear a Dress Tuesday right after I got back from the cemetery ...

... and Wear a Dress Tuesday after I went home to change and came back to get some work done.

I'm exhausted - goodnight!

  1. Love both dresses but the yellow one is super amazingly cute! I bet you do all that you can with the power of God to comfort all of those people who have just lost a loved one.
PS I'm wearing a dress today too!

  2. Love that second dress! I wore a dress today, but didn't get a picture. Sigh. It's so hard to take good pics of yourself (although you seem to do a good job).

  3. I can imagine that was a very humbling experience. I think that your blog title, The Strength of Faith, sums it up perfectly in what people feel during those sad times.

Also- You look wonderful in both outfits! I'm loving the shoes in the first one.
