Okay, technically it's 11:30. But I was awake until 2:30 and got a slow start this morning.
Nothing some protein, grains and coffee couldn't fix ...
I scrambled two eggs, then scooped in some leftover rice into the skillet until it was warm, melted some sharp cheddar cheese on the top and seasoned with sea salt and pepper. Delicious!

Today Girl Talk is hosting a blog hop and the theme is "Show Us Your Family". Seeing that my family is in the middle of "hell week" (the week of dress rehearsals leading up to opening night of my dad's show), I figured it would be fitting to pull this photo out of my archives ...
This photo was taken last year after closing night of my dad's show. Bruce and I had flown up from Atlanta and I insisted that we all climb up on the set to get a family photo. Priceless! It says a lot about how important this show is to all of us.
