A Liturgical Sense of Humor

This morning at church I was changing the saying on our sign.  I don't normally do this, so I wasn't sure what to say.  I was flipping through the bible for inspiration, happened upon a diagram of the liturgical year and had an idea.

According to the church year we are in "Ordinary Time".  So this is what I came up with ...

Do you think anyone else will understand my liturgical sense of humor?  My pastor laughed and kind of shook her head when she saw it.  I told her that perhaps someone will be confused enough to stop in!

Happy Fourth of July!  Bruce and Kari and I are heading down to Turner Field to tailgate and cheer on the Braves!  I'll be back later with a recap!

  2. There is nothing ordinary about you and your ministry! Great story... hoping CPE is going well and that you are learning from and teaching to the blessings crossing your paths... Philippians 1:3-4
