I Hate it When I'm Busy and I Don't Have Time to Blog

Boy, I'm really up on the creative titles tonight, aren't I?

Okay, here's the deal.  I know I'm finished with school and now I should be laying by the pool, obsessively checking my grades and making up for lost time in the blog world.  Actually - come to think of it - the obsessively checking my grades part is definitely happening.  However, my ordination papers are due to be submitted tomorrow and I'm trying to put a creative spin on them so it's not just the same "yada yada yada" that I'm sure has been written in the past.  And I am being a perfectionist and re-reading everything 15 times before moving on to the next section.  Hence - it's after 11 p.m. on Sunday night and I'm way behind on my schedule to have them finished by - well - two hours ago.

In the meantime, here are the things that I want to blog about when I hit send on these puppies - er papers - and regain my life.  Again.  I know, I know, I was just saying the same thing about school.  But for real this time.  Life will slow down soon.

Until I start my chaplaincy internship at Grady ...

Crap.

What was I saying?  Oh right - my blog preview.

I, Sarah Elizabeth Weaver, promise to share with my friends ...

... my new polished recipe for Southwestern Pasta Salad that will feed an army and leave you wanting more.  Complete with pictures.  I know you're excited (especially you, Gib - I just may make you some when you come visit this summer).

... the strange discoveries one makes when their husband decides it's time to clean out the bedroom closet (does anyone need six tubes of lipgloss?).

... how God is teaching me how to run again.

... why I cannot wait to go through my stuff and sort through and donate the stuff I don't need or use.

... the way in which my creative energies are bursting at the seems, waiting impatiently for me to stop being attached to my computer 24 hours a day.

... how I start to cry every time I think about what graduation means - ie leaving the friends who have become family over these past three years, the ones who have been with me through the ups and downs, the exams and the papers, the "A-ha!" moments and the "What in the heck is he talking about today?" moments.  I love them all.

Stay tuned ... it's going to be a busy week.

  1. Leaving is sad, isn't it? I am so glad you'll be in ATL though. It'll be good to see you when I'm in town visiting the boy.

  2. you may (noticed I said may) inspire me to start a similar type list especially if it will get me focused on gettting settled into full-time ministry. Have a great week and I'll see you next Monday...
