God is Good

All the time.  God is Good.

The blogging world is incredible.  I was checking my e-mail after class (okay, during class) this morning and saw that a few comments had come through on my post about the food pantry.  One of them was from the daughter of the church manager at the NMUMC.  She was doing a google search for articles about the incident and came across my blog.  She graciously updated me on the state of the food pantry.  Here is part of her comment:

... It's been a rough couple days but the community response (and even the response from outside our immediate community) has been INCREDIBLE.  I think you'll be happy to know that even though we lost a lot of food, as of right now we have more food than we know what to do with! ... 

Isn't that incredible?  I got chills - because of the way the community has stepped up to help rebuild and also because of the power of blogging, of the way it's allowed me to connect to such incredible people, of how small it's made the world seem.
